1. Overview of Delivery Process
RentDeed.in provides both digital electronic delivery and physical doorstep delivery for all registered rent agreements and leave & license deeds executed through our platform in Pune and across Maharashtra.
2. Digital Delivery (Instant Encrypted PDF)
- Delivery Timeline: Once the agreement receives formal electronic clearance and digital signature from the Sub-Registrar Office (IGR Maharashtra), the certified registered agreement PDF is issued within 24 to 48 hours of completing biometric verification.
- Delivery Method: The certified digital copy with government stamp and QR-code verification link is delivered directly to the registered email address and WhatsApp number of both the landlord and the tenant.
- Digital Legal Validity: Under Section 65B of the Indian Evidence Act and the Information Technology Act, 2000, the digitally stamped PDF issued by IGR is 100% legally valid across all banks, police stations, and government authorities.
3. Physical Hard Copy Delivery
- Delivery Scope: We dispatch original stamped hard-copy documents and Index-2 certificates to your chosen postal address across Pune, PCMC, Mumbai, and all serviceable pin codes in Maharashtra.
- Courier Timeline: Physical hard copies are dispatched via reputed courier partners (Blue Dart, DTDC, or Speed Post) within 2 to 3 business days following government registration approval. Estimated transit time is 1–2 business days for Pune/PCMC and 2–4 business days for other regions.
- Tracking Details: Tracking numbers are shared via SMS and email immediately upon dispatch.
4. Shipping Charges
Standard physical courier delivery across Maharashtra is 100% Free and Included in your all-inclusive package price. Express hand delivery or out-of-state courier delivery is available upon special request at nominal courier partner rates.
