Refund & Cancellation
Understand our refund procedures, fee reversibility, and rescheduling terms before booking your rent agreement service.
1. Transparent Refund Policy
At RentDeed.in, we strive to deliver transparent and reliable rent agreement registration services. We understand that tenancy negotiations may change, and we have outlined our clear, fair cancellation and refund guidelines below.
2. Cancellation Before Draft Preparation
If a client cancels the service request before our legal team has commenced drafting or document verification, a 100% full refund of our service fee will be issued without penalty.
3. Cancellation After Draft Generation
If cancellation is initiated after the agreement draft has been customized and shared for review, a nominal administrative and drafting charge of ₹499 will be retained, and the remainder of the fee will be refunded.
4. Government Stamp Duty & Registration Charges
Important Note: Government stamp duty and registration fees that have already been generated, stamped, or disbursed to the government treasury via e-challan/GRAS are governed by the Maharashtra Stamp Act. Once challans are generated or submitted to the IGR portal, statutory government fees are non-refundable by RentDeed.in.
5. Doorstep Visit Rescheduling & Cancellations
- Free Rescheduling: You may reschedule your biometric doorstep appointment at no additional cost by informing us at least 4 hours prior to the slot.
- Executive Dispatched: If an appointment is cancelled or nobody is available at the doorstep after our field executive has already reached the premises, a nominal visit re-attempt fee of ₹300 may apply for the subsequent visit.
6. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method (UPI, bank transfer, or card) within 5 to 7 business days. Confirmation will be sent via SMS and email.
